Why do you have different shaped tablets?

All our products are handmade at home. We use different moulds, so tablets may be round or square. Both shapes work the same.

Are there other scents available?

Our supplier has a range of Organic Essential Oils we can choose from. If you have a specific scent you would like to see us stock, please let us know via our Contact page.

Can we buy the Washing Powder in bulk?

Not yet, but this is something we are working on. If you are interested, please let us know via our Contact page.

The Dishwash Tablets are too big for my Dishwashers dispenser?

Put the tablet at the bottom of your dishwasher, on the door, or in the cutlery holder. It will work wherever you place it. See our Instagram Reel to watch how we use it!

I keep forgetting that I have put the Toilet Tablet in the toilet! Are there other ways to use these?

Join us! You can crush these tablets right into the bowl to help them dissolve faster.

How to Refill at Maeve&Co NZ

  1. Bring It Clean: Please ensure your jar, bag, or container is clean and dry before you arrive. This keeps our products fresh and prevents cross-contamination.

  2. You Save: You only pay for the product, leaving the packaging and the waste behind!

  • Allergy Responsibility: While we use minimal, natural ingredients, we advise customers to always read the full ingredient list before purchase to identify known allergens. Maeve & Co. cannot be responsible for allergic reactions.

  • Patch Testing: We recommend performing a patch test before using any new product. Apply a small amount to a clean area of skin on the forearm and wait 24 hours for any signs of irritation. Discontinue use immediately if any adverse reaction occurs.

Specific Warnings for Skincare & Body Products (Insect Balm & Bath Salts)

1. Essential Oil and Vulnerable Groups

  • Children Under 2: DO NOT USE the Insect Balm or any product containing essential oils on infants or children under the age of 2. This is due to the presence of Eucalyptus Essential Oil and the risk of respiratory distress.

  • Pregnancy & Health Conditions: If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have pre-existing health conditions (such as high blood pressure, heart conditions, or diabetes), please consult your healthcare professional before using products that contain essential oils (like our Bath Salts or Insect Balm).

2. Bath Salts Safety (Epsom Salt, Essential Oil, Coconut Oil

  • Slippery Surfaces: The Organic Fractionated Coconut Oil in our Bath Salts may make the bath and surrounding floor surfaces slippery. Use extreme caution when entering and exiting the tub. Rinse the bath thoroughly after use to prevent residue build-up.

  • External Use Only: Do not ingest the bath salts. Do not use on broken, irritated, or freshly shaven skin.

3. Insect Balm Use (Eucalyptus Oil & Coconut Oil)

  • External Use Only: The balm is for external use only. Avoid contact with eyes and sensitive mucous membranes.

  • Not a Repellent: Our balm is intended to deter insects with its natural aroma. It is not a registered repellent or pesticide and Maeve & Co. makes no claims regarding its effectiveness against specific insects or diseases.

  • Temperature Sensitivity: The Coconut Oil base liquefies at warmer temperatures. Store in a cool place to maintain its solid consistency.
