Mandatory Usage & Safety Warnings

  • External Use Only: This balm is for external use only. Do not ingest.

  • Keep Out of Eyes: Avoid contact with eyes, nose, and sensitive mucous membranes.

  • Patch Test Recommended: We recommend applying a small amount to a patch of skin (such as the inner elbow) and waiting 24 hours before widespread use, especially if you have sensitive skin. Discontinue use immediately if irritation, redness, or rash occurs.

  • Flammability Warning: Eucalyptus oil is flammable. Store this balm away from heat and open flame.

Essential Oil and Health Warnings

  • Essential Oil Concentration: This product contains a concentrated essential oil (Eucalyptus Oil). While diluted with Coconut Oil, excessive use may cause irritation. Use sparingly.

  • Not a Pesticide/Repellent: This balm is intended to deter insects with its natural aroma. It is not a registered repellent or pesticide and Maeve & Co. makes no claims regarding its effectiveness against specific insects, such as mosquitos carrying disease.

  • Pregnancy and Young Children: DO NOT USE this product on infants or children under the age of 2 due to the presence of Eucalyptus Essential Oil. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, please consult with a qualified healthcare professional before use.

  • Allergy Warning: Please check the full ingredient list if you have known allergies to Coconut Oil or Eucalyptus Oil.

  • Solid/Liquid State: Coconut oil naturally liquefies at warmer temperatures. Store in a cool place to maintain consistency. If melted, gently stir and refrigerate until solid. This does not affect the product's quality.
